Confirmed scam shops (94)

Buyers paid and lost their money. Many of these sites are offline already, and the people behind them keep opening new ones under new names. Addresses are shown as text, not links.

How these scams work

You pay, nothing arrives

After the payment or deposit the shop goes quiet: no parcel, no answers, and often the website disappears.

A parcel arrives, with the wrong thing inside

The shop ships something so it can prove delivery: a real miner box weighed down with bricks, a broken or worn-out machine, or a much cheaper model. One buyer paid about €32,000 for an Antminer AL1 and received an S19k Pro worth about €2,000.

Cash on delivery doesn't protect you

You pay the courier before you may open the parcel, and the courier isn't liable for what's inside. Even a real miner case can hold missing or dead hash boards: you only know once it's running.

Cloud mining that stops paying

You rent hashrate instead of buying a machine. Payouts run for two or three months, then stop or the site closes. Most of these schemes pay old customers with new customers' money.

Warning signs

  • Prices 25–30% or more under the manufacturer's. Margins on miners are a few percent, so nobody honest sells far under the maker.
  • "Buy 3, get 1 free" offers or discounts that end in 30 minutes.
  • A website registered only days or weeks ago.
  • Payment in crypto only, and up front.
  • An address that looks like a manufacturer's or a known seller's, with a letter added or changed.
  • The same design and prices as other shops, with only the logo and colour changed.
