Profit and payback are estimates from today's coin prices and network difficulty, before pool fees, hosting and taxes. They change every day. Not financial advice.
Rankings use the algorithm's main coin (BTC for SHA-256, LTC + DOGE for Scrypt): small side chains may pay more per hash today but can't absorb much hashrate.
The Bitmain Antminer S19 XP+ Hyd (266Th) is an ASIC miner by Bitmain for the SHA-256 algorithm, rated at 266 TH/s on 5,054 W. It came out in January 2025. Its efficiency of 19.0 J/TH is close to the median SHA-256 miner we track (20.4 J/TH). At $0.036/kWh it ranks #94 of 299 SHA-256 miners by daily profit, earning about $5.31 a day mining BTC. The best price on AsicProfit is $2,961. At today's rates it would pay for itself in about 558 days. It is water-cooled (hydro), so it needs a cooling loop and a dry cooler instead of fans.

how often do I have to check the coolant on a hydro miner
AsicProfit SupportAsicProfit · Oct 22, 2026
Bitmain's guide puts pH at the centre of routine checks and says coolant below pH 7 should not be used. Test pH roughly every six months, track freezing point and conductivity, and do a full coolant check at least once a year. When draining for repair, empty the miner completely.

Is there warranty on a used S19 XP+ Hyd?
AsicProfit SupportAsicProfit · Oct 21, 2026
Bitmain's standard warranty for new S19 and later miners is 365 days from the official shipment date, subject to the sales contract, and is tied to the serial number. A used unit keeps whatever is left of that period. Check the serial on Bitmain's warranty check page before buying. Out of warranty units can still be repaired for a fee.

do I need a full cooling container or can I run one at home with a dry cooler
AsicProfit SupportAsicProfit · Oct 17, 2026
Bitmain designs it to run with its own hydro cooling infrastructure, but what the miner needs is the flow, pressure, temperature and fluid quality in its spec. A home loop with a pump, dry cooler and plate heat exchanger can meet that if sized for over 5 kW of heat per unit, plus three phase power. Most owners use a hosting site.

What coolant, flow and pressure does the XP+ Hyd need?
AsicProfit SupportAsicProfit · Oct 14, 2026
Bitmain lists 8 to 10 litres per minute per unit, pressure up to 3.5 bar, inlet coolant 20 to 50°C, and OD10 pipe connectors. Approved fluids are antifreeze (pH 7.0 to 9.0), pure water (6.5 to 7.5) or deionized water (8.5 to 9.5). Use a glycol mix rated for the lowest temperature on site, since frozen and cracked heat exchangers are not covered.

Can I plug an S19 XP+ Hyd into normal single phase power?
AsicProfit SupportAsicProfit · Oct 11, 2026
No. Bitmain specifies three phase 380 to 415 V, 50 or 60 Hz, up to 12 A per phase, through an APW11 power supply with a waterproof connector. The power cord is not included. Bitmain also requires an earthed supply, a surge protection device and a disconnect that cuts all three phases at once. Plan the electrical work with a qualified electrician.

What is the actual difference between the 279T and 293T versions?
AsicProfit SupportAsicProfit · Sep 14, 2026
They are the same machine in different bins. Bitmain lists 279 TH/s at about 5,301 W and 293 TH/s at about 5,567 W, both around 19 J/TH at 35°C coolant inlet. The 293T makes more hashrate and needs more power and cooling capacity per unit. Compare both in the calculator at your power price.
