Profit and payback are estimates from today's coin prices and network difficulty, before pool fees, hosting and taxes. They change every day. Not financial advice.
Rankings use the algorithm's main coin (BTC for SHA-256, LTC + DOGE for Scrypt): small side chains may pay more per hash today but can't absorb much hashrate.
The ElphaPex DG1+ (13.5Gh) is an ASIC miner by ElphaPex for the Scrypt algorithm, rated at 13.5 GH/s on 3,780 W. It came out in July 2024. Its efficiency of 280.0 J/GH is close to the median Scrypt miner we track (310.0 J/GH). At $0.036/kWh it ranks #23 of 68 Scrypt miners by daily profit, earning about $2.23 a day mining LTC + DOGE. The best price on AsicProfit is $1,150. At today's rates it would pay for itself in about 516 days. At 75 dB it belongs in a dedicated mining site or hosting facility.

Is there a way to run the DG1+ at lower power when electricity is expensive?
AsicProfit SupportAsicProfit · Oct 20, 2026
ElphaPex's firmware DG1+_SW_V1.0.5.1, released in March 2026, adds an ultra low power mode called PowerSave2 with improved efficiency, and the ElphaPexTool utility can switch it. Lower power means lower hashrate, so compare both modes in the calculator on this page. Download firmware only from the maker's support page and check the MD5 checksum listed there before flashing.

Does the DG1+ merge mine Dogecoin with Litecoin, and anything else?
AsicProfit SupportAsicProfit · Oct 17, 2026
Yes. ElphaPex sells the DG1+ as an LTC plus DOGE plus BELLS miner on the Scrypt algorithm. With a merged-mining pool you mine Litecoin and earn Dogecoin and other auxiliary Scrypt coins from the same work, without losing hashrate. Which extra coins you actually receive depends on the pool, so check its payout list before you connect. The calculator on this page shows the combined revenue at your power price.

13 GH vs 14 GH DG1+, which one should I buy?
AsicProfit SupportAsicProfit · Oct 10, 2026
The maker's product page currently sells the DG1+ at a single 14 GH/s rating, 3920 W, 0.28 J/MH. If a seller offers a 13 GH/s unit, treat it as a lower-rated version of the same model: ask for its rated power and the label photo, and compare cost per GH. The calculator on this page will show which one returns more at your electricity price.

What power hookup does the DG1+ need? I read something about two input wires.
AsicProfit SupportAsicProfit · Oct 9, 2026
ElphaPex specifies 200 to 240 V AC, 47 to 63 Hz, with an input current of 32 A delivered over two AC input wires rated at 16 A each. Power on the wall is about 3920 W (plus or minus 10 percent). Plan for two suitably rated feeds or a PDU that can supply both inputs, and have an electrician size the circuits. Incorrect voltage can damage the miner, according to the maker.

What warranty comes with the DG1+ if I buy one secondhand or from a reseller?
AsicProfit SupportAsicProfit · Sep 29, 2026
ElphaPex gives 180 days of warranty from the shipping date, and only to the original buyer who purchased directly from them. Once a unit is resold, warranty responsibility moves to the reseller. So for a used unit or a reseller purchase, get the warranty terms in writing from the seller, including who pays shipping for repairs. Damage from unauthorized setting changes is excluded.

Can I put a DG1+ in my apartment? Size, weight and heat?
AsicProfit SupportAsicProfit · Sep 17, 2026
Not a good idea. It is an air-cooled server of about 433 x 196 x 287 mm, 18.3 kg, drawing roughly 3.9 kW, so it pushes out a lot of hot air and fan noise. ElphaPex does not publish a noise figure on the product page, but machines in this power class are loud. A ventilated garage, shed or proper mining space suits it far better, and the maker recommends altitudes below 2000 m.
