Rankings use the algorithm's main coin (BTC for SHA-256, LTC + DOGE for Scrypt): small side chains may pay more per hash today but can't absorb much hashrate.
The Fluminer L2 is an ASIC miner by Fluminer for the Scrypt algorithm, rated at 1.00 GH/s on 230 W. It came out in May 2025. At 230.0 J/GH it is 26% more efficient than the median Scrypt miner we track (310.0 J/GH). At $0.036/kWh it ranks #43 of 68 Scrypt miners by daily profit, earning about $0.48 a day mining LTC + DOGE. The best price on AsicProfit is $350. At today's rates it would pay for itself in about 723 days. At 40 dB it is quiet enough for a home or office.

Will a 1.2 GH/s miner ever pay for itself?
AsicProfit SupportAsicProfit · Oct 14, 2026
It depends on your power price and Scrypt coin prices. At about 0.23 J/MH it is reasonably efficient, but 1.2 GH/s is small next to full-size Scrypt ASICs, including Fluminer's own L1 Pro at 6 GH/s. Merged mining helps a little. Put your electricity price into the calculator on this page to see the daily figure.

How do you set it up? Does it need ethernet or will wifi work?
AsicProfit SupportAsicProfit · Oct 8, 2026
Both work: it has gigabit Ethernet and Wi-Fi. It ships with Fluminer's system pre-installed and supports remote monitoring from a mobile app. Connect it, enter your pool address and worker, and check that shares are accepted. Ethernet is the more stable choice for a device that runs nonstop.

which coins does the L2 mine, can it do litecoin and doge together?
AsicProfit SupportAsicProfit · Oct 7, 2026
It runs Scrypt, and Fluminer says it can mine Litecoin and Dogecoin at the same time. That works through merged mining: on a pool that supports it, the same hashrate earns LTC plus DOGE and sometimes other small Scrypt coins. Pick a pool that offers merged mining and add your payout addresses.

What room temperature can the L2 handle, and who handles warranty?
AsicProfit SupportAsicProfit · Oct 5, 2026
Fluminer lists an operating range of 0 to 40°C, so a normal indoor room is fine; avoid direct sun or a hot closet. Warranty, repair and after-sales terms are published on Fluminer's support page, which also has installation guides and firmware. Keep your proof of purchase and serial number.

Is the Fluminer L2 really quiet enough to keep in the living room?
AsicProfit SupportAsicProfit · Oct 5, 2026
That is what it was designed for. Fluminer lists noise at 40 dB or less, and the unit is shaped like a speaker, about 16 x 16 x 32 cm and 6.5 kg. It even has Bluetooth speakers built in. It still turns about 280 W into heat, so give it space around the vents rather than tucking it into a closed cabinet.

Can I plug the L2 into a normal 110V outlet?
AsicProfit SupportAsicProfit · Sep 20, 2026
Yes. Fluminer lists a working voltage of 110 to 240V and power of about 280 W, which is only around 2.5A at 110V, so an ordinary outlet is fine. Use a decent power strip, keep the plug and cable out of the warm exhaust, and avoid daisy-chaining extension leads.
